I had a wonderful stay at Namuwoki Lodge, surrounded by stunning lush vegetation and wildlife, especially with the Howler monkeys serenading me each morning. While the room was comfortable and clean, it was a bit on the dark side, and I did bump into the wooden bed rim a few times. The friendly staff and the tasty food helped make my experience nice, though the evenings were occasionally marred by noisy neighbors.

The room was simple but clean and comfortable. It had great air conditioning and a fridge, plus a lovely generous verandah. However, it felt a bit dark inside, and I found the wooden rim around the bed a little annoying.
Service

The staff here were excellent, always pleasant and smiling, making me feel welcomed. They were efficient and took care of any issues I had, although at times, I found it hard to locate them.
Location

The lodge is ideally located in Playa Chiquita, just a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants. It felt secluded yet accessible, a great spot to relax and enjoy nature.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast, which had a decent variety of fresh fruit, eggs, and coffee, overlooking the pool. While it was good, the dinners were overpriced and not as special as I’d hoped for.
Facilities

The small pool was refreshing, though I wish it didn't have that odd carpet around it. Other facilities like the common areas made for nice spots to chill after a day of exploring.

I had a fantastic 6-night stay at Namuwoki Lodge, enjoying the lush surroundings and tranquil atmosphere. The bungalow I stayed in was comfortable, and the private veranda was perfect for relaxing. However, some areas, like the room's security and pool surroundings, could use a bit of attention. Overall, it was a pleasant getaway with friendly staff and some delicious breakfasts.

My bungalow was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large private veranda perfect for reading in peace. However, it was quite dark, and a broken window lock was concerning.

The lodge features a small pool surrounded by a carpet, which wasn't my favorite. It also had some amenities like room service and transportation, but the overall feel was slightly tired.

I had a good time at Namuwoki Lodge, enjoying its beautiful jungle surroundings and vibrant wildlife, including monkeys and toucans. However, I did find some aspects a bit lacking, such as the limited breakfast variety and the need for updated facilities. Overall, it was a peaceful escape close to nature, but with room for improvement.

The bungalows were spacious and generally comfortable, though mine had a broken window lock that needed fixing. The dark interiors contributed to a cozy yet slightly outdated vibe.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when I requested a room change for a quieter stay. They also surprised us with a lovely gesture for our honeymoon.
Location

The lodge's location was fantastic for enjoying nature and was just a short distance from a lesser-used beach. I appreciated how close it was to Puerto Viejo and local amenities.
Dining

Breakfast options were decent but became repetitive after a few days. The restaurant had tasty meals, but the dinner options felt overpriced for the quality.

The small pool was nice but unfortunately surrounded by a carpet, which I wasn't a fan of. It could definitely benefit from some updates and more attention to detail.

I stayed at Namuwoki Lodge for six nights and genuinely enjoyed my time there. The private veranda of my bungalow was a highlight, perfect for relaxing with a book while soaking in the natural surroundings. However, the lodge does feel a bit tired and could use some updates, like fixing broken locks and addressing the pool's carpet. Overall, it was a lovely spot to disconnect and enjoy nature, but some aspects could use improvement.

I recently spent 5 nights at Namuwoki Lodge and had a mix of experiences. The location is serene, surrounded by nature, which I loved, but my first lodge wasn’t as modern as I expected. The staff were fantastic – they even moved me to a nicer room for my honeymoon, complete with a complimentary bottle of champagne. Overall, it was a relaxing stay with some room for improvement.

I started in a lodge that felt a bit dated but was later moved to a more pleasant bungalow. The new one had a private veranda, which I enjoyed, but some maintenance issues need addressing.
